So happily we came out from the custom check, collected our luggages and ready to go the hotel.
Waiting for the airport express train to come
Within 20 minutes we arrived at the Kowloon station, and continued our journey to hotel with the free shuttle bus.
Finally the bus driver stopped and shouted 'Royal Pacific' (with Cantonese accent by the way) and dropped us at the car park located at the rear of the hotel building. It was almost 3pm by then and we proceeded with the check-in and gtt the room key. Once opened the door, as expected the room was small but manageable. Well, probably reflect what we were paying...

The room that we are staying for the next 5 nights, costing us US$89 per night without breakfast
Today's itinerary plan is only visiting the Harbour City Shopping Mall at Canton Road which is within walking distance from the hotel. So without wasting any time we quickly got ourselves prepared and left the hotel in no time.

Me in one of the shopping centres - China Hong Kong City before arriving at the Harbour City
Harbour City 海港城 is easily seen further down the Canton Road. Wow.. first impression, so many high class boutiques here and I knew immediately it was going to be a quick trip...
Entrances to the Harbour City
It is a indeed a big mall with lots of shops but not so busy, not surprising actually. Somehow we felt bored after a while, ha... this definitely won't happen if I have a thick wallet! Probably best that we find something to eat now. As we came up the escalator we were delighted to see a food court packed with people. Ok, we will just have some food here. After deciding what we want to eat we separated our way and Frankie will order the food while I hunt for an empty table. Maybe it was weekend people just kept on coming in. After few minutes of searching and waiting, opps.. now Frankie has the food tray on his hands and I still can't find any seat, looks like we have to share a table with others, very common in Hong Kong isn't it!!?? Finding a shared table also not an easy task, people ain't that friendly either when asked. Luckily a couple allowed us to sit beside them and only then we can enjoy our food, else we probably will have to eat while standing. Here is an important lesson learnt: never order food before you found a seat!
the food court - part of City'super
City'super is actually an international gourmet food market, there is a huge supermarket on one of the floors which we discovered after the meal. We were more interested in their japanese ready-cooked food counter so immediately we bought the soft shell crabs and grilled eels, and the best place to enjoy this food now is of course back to the hotel room, we agreed. Since then it was still an early evening we planned go to the Avenue of Stars at East Tsim Sha Tsui later to free up some time tomorrow for other activities. What a good suggestion, we thought!
Unfortunately after the meal, our energy levels were so low that we called it a day.... and went zzZZZ.
